Paolo Ardoino, chief technology officer of Tether stablecoin and Bitfinex cryptocurrency platform, has unveiled his concept of a truly "unstoppable" decentralized exchange. Which components are necessary to develop it?

Time to stop playing with toys

In his latest tweet, Mr. Ardoino underlined that existing decentralized exchange solutions look like childish toys to him. He then proposed two software environments to change the game in this red hot segment.

@dazaar_com + @BeakerBrowser are a perfect match for a truly unstoppable DEX, not those toys the kids use nowadays. I wish I had more time to dedicate to it. Let it snow more.

According to Mr. Ardoino, peer-to-peer data streaming protocol Dazaar and decentralized browser Beaker Browser can act as an adequate software environment for noncustodial exchange of digital assets. He also admitted that he wished to have much more time to dedicate to the progress of this DEX.

A Bitcoin developer who goes by @r32a_ on Twitter agreed that the perfect DEX can use Dazaar as a data streaming instrument and Beaker Browser as a graphic user interface module. Also, it should include Lightning Network channels, oracles and the Lightning-based version of USD Tether (USDT) stablecoin.

Paolo Ardoino added that the ideal DEX, for him, should harness the potential of multiple blockchains simultaneously.

Introducing Beaker Browser

Of the two elements mentioned by Mr. Ardoino, Dazaar protocol is known better for the crypto-focused audience. Introduced for the first time in early 2020, this protocol should be considered a peer-to-peer data hosting ecosystem. It allows data owners to monetize their streams with no need for third-party intermediaries.

Beaker Browser is a torrent-like ecosystem for sharing websites. It launched version 1.0 on Dec. 2, and the team promotes it as an "experimental" software.

Instead of http/https protocols, Beaker Browser utilizes Hypercore. Its major use cases cover the sharing of websites with the educational and development purposes.

Shared websites are called "Hyperdrive" in this browser. Also, it features the templates and code samples to help newbie developers to study decentralized blockchain programming.
