Whale Alert also spotted the aforementioned blockchain transaction by Ripplesent to anonymous wallet rMND5vHirAL1AUCDfqvGtBkgnEgVeB4X7h and activated by a user going by the nickname RL18-VN.

A user from an eToro forum, David Kaye, wrote two years ago that Ripple had created four extra escrow wallets. One of them bore the nickname RL18-VN.

According to analytics website Bithomp, this XRP address is often mentioned in XRP transactions as either the sending or receiving party.

The eToro user assumed that the creation of these four extra escrow wallets by Ripple signified that some major financial institutions might have been locking up gargantuan amounts of XRP for later use.
