To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the United Nations, Input Output Hong Kong software company, tasked with the development of the Cardano (ADA) blockchain, will contribute to global Sustainable Development Goals.

Project Catalyst will collaborate with the United Nations

Project Catalyst, a recently launched community-driven initiative by IOHK, will vote on proposals that are perfectly aligned with the most ambitious global program of the U.N., Sustainable Development Goals.

Within the framework of this collaboration, the IOHK team invites all enthusiasts to participate in its programs. At press time, Catalyst hosts the Blockchain For Social Good campaign.

Any developer can share his/her solution that is dedicated to the public good. All applicants' software should be open-source. Even if the full codebase is not ready yet, software with several use cases and samples will be accepted for the program. The application deadline is set for Oct. 10.

Tim Harrison, strategic communications specialist at IOHK, and Dr. Dor Garbash, governance product manager, are included on Catalyst's expert panel for this initiative.
